Ooi Chee (Peggy) Chooi is the founder and principal of the firm. She is a barrister and solicitor called to the Ontario Bar in 2006, a registered Canadian trade-mark agent and a notary public. Peggy is also registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office in trade-mark cases, representing parties located in Canada.

Peggy is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, International Trademark Association (INTA) and Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers (FACL).

Admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 1994, Peggy has over 10 years of experience as a practicing lawyer. She was a former partner in the intellectual property and technology department of a reputable Malaysian law firm. She was responsible for managing the intellectual property portfolio of many clients that included Fortune 500 companies and multinational corporations. She has worked with clients from the software, entertainment, telecommunication, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, fashion, retail, cosmetic, food, and high-tech industries.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London and a Master of Science in Information Technology from Staffordshire University, England.
